This was all a bit quicker than I'd thought it would be. I'd planted these in the soil that I'd dug out whilst digging the other two raised beds. I say soil, it was a strange mix of brick bits and wood off cuts the builder's had left behind masquerading as soil. There was no sign of any sprouting when I'd topped this up with the proper soil earlier in the week - so they must have shot through.
