Post 9 and safe is just fine

After the lamb shank disaster, I played safe. And not only safe, but managed to use up everything which was about to wilt.

Chicken, roasted whole with roasted spuds, parsnips (although these do appear to be breeding in the box) and carrots. Served with two types of cabbage, so no wiltage this week! and mash; well you don't want to go hungry now, do you. Also just a little garlic in the roasting pan to flavour the gravy. Only the 5 cloves.

Turned out nice. And what's almost as good is that the remnants of this are about to become sausagey bubble and squeak. Turned out twice nice.
