Post 126: Stand your spoon in it Leek and Celeriac soup

This is my first soup of the winter soup season, and it was part of a mini campain to use up some back log of vegetables. so, this was two week's worth of Leeks - to which I added two big table spoons of the celeriac mash. Recipe: 1 onion, 3 gloves garlic, 6 leeks all fairly roughly chopped - fry. Add salt, pepper and stock. Add celeriac. Bubble for a bit. Blitz. Simple.
As I knew that it would only be myself eating this, I only added a single pint of stock to the Leek. Which gave a very very thick soup; looking very much like baby food. Tasted nice though; put some hair on my chest.
