Look at this beauty:
And this used almost a third of my week's veg box to make this lovelyness:
- Spud and turnip mash
- cabbage
- onion gravy
So, that's a good start to not being wasteful for the week. Given I wasn't rushing,I made an extra effort with the gravy - slow cooked the onions with garlic, then simmered them in the bisto (I wanted proper gravy, none of the jus malarky!) and then just to ensure it was full of flavour flav, I gave it a last little go around the oven tray I'd done the sausages in.
