Post 32: Stir Fry Vegboxings

Successfully completing using this week's veg box (kohl rabi apart), I went for a stir-fry as there was some bok choi in there. Here's how it went:

- a pound of rump steak cut into thin strips, marinated in garlic, soy, chilli. No surprises from me there then with the garlic and chillies then
- Two carrots cut into matchsticks. Quite enjoyable if you've got the time, this carrots-into-matchsticks business
- a bunch of spring onions
- bean sprouts
- the bok choi, thickish sliced
- some other random leaves which came in the veg box, which may have been chard - these were destalked and shredded.

In with the noodle doodles into water and then all the variously trimmed and shredded stuff into a hot frying pan. At the last I added a packet of black bean sauce that happened to be cupboard; due to worries about it being a bit too try Frankly, Mr Shankly, it was rank. All the bits I cooked were nice, but I rankified it.

Onwards and upwards.
